Terms of Service

Terms means these Terms of Service.

Service means the Laterlane website available at https://app.laterlane.com.

Service Provider means the owner of the Service, a natural person — Kamil Tyborowski.

User means any natural person who accesses the Service and uses services provided by the Service Provider through the Service.

Electronic Communication means communication between the parties by electronic mail (email).

These Terms define the rules for the operation and use of the Service and the rights and obligations of Users and the Service Provider in connection with the Service.

The Service Provider makes tools available through the Service, enabling Users to access posts, articles, audiovisual materials, web applications, and electronic forms.

Any content, articles, or information resembling guidance or advice published through the Service constitutes general information only and is not directed to individual Users. The Service Provider is not responsible for how Users apply such information.

The User accepts full responsibility for how materials made available through the Service are used, including compliance with applicable law.

The Service Provider gives no warranty regarding the suitability of materials published through the Service.

The Service Provider is not liable for damage suffered by Users or third parties in connection with use of the Service. All risks associated with use of the Service, particularly the use of information published through it, are borne by the User.

Use of the Service is voluntary. Paid services require payment in accordance with the selected plan and the terms presented to the User before placing an order. A free trial is available under the terms specified in the offer.

The parties agree that provision (delivery) of a paid service will begin no earlier than after the full fee for that service has been paid. Access to the paid service is activated without undue delay after full payment for the order or issued invoice has been credited to the Service Provider’s account.

Users must read these Terms and the other documents forming an integral part of them and accept all provisions before continuing to use the Service.

Technical requirements for using the Service:

• a device with a display capable of showing web pages,
• an internet connection,
• a web browser supporting W3C standards and HTML5 pages,
• JavaScript enabled,
• Cookies enabled.

To protect the Service Provider, the User, and other Users, everyone using the Service should follow generally accepted online security practices.

Users are prohibited from taking the following actions, personally or through software:

• decompiling or analysing source code without written permission,
• causing excessive load on the Service server without written permission,
• attempting to identify vulnerabilities in the Service or server configuration without written permission,
• uploading or injecting code, scripts, or software into a server or database that could harm the Service, Users, or Service Provider,
• uploading or injecting code, scripts, or software capable of tracking or stealing User or Service Provider data,
• taking any action intended to damage, disable, or obstruct the purpose or operation of the Service.

If an actual or potential cybersecurity incident or GDPR breach is identified, Users should first notify the Service Provider so that the issue or threat can be addressed quickly and the interests of all Users protected.

Registration and an account are required to use the Service.

Registration is voluntary and free.

Each User may hold only one account.

Registration requires an email account.

By registering, Users consent to the Service Provider processing personal data entered during registration and any later changes to or deletion of that data.

The Service Provider may suspend or delete User accounts at its discretion, preventing or limiting access to some or all services, content, materials, and resources, particularly when a User breaches these Terms, applicable law, accepted social standards, or acts against the interests of the Service Provider, other Users, or third parties.

Services may be changed in content or scope, added, removed, temporarily suspended, or restricted at the Service Provider’s discretion without a right of objection by Users.

Additional account security rules:

• Registered Users must not share their login or password with third parties.
• The Service Provider is not entitled to and will never request a User’s account password.

Account deletion:

• Each registered User can delete their account from the Service.
• The account may be deleted after signing in to the Service panel.
• Deleting an account removes the User’s identifying data and anonymises the username and email address.

The Service provides contact details in the form of an email address.

When a User contacts the Service Provider, the User’s personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

To provide services correctly, protect the Service Provider’s legitimate interests, and ensure legal compliance, the Service Provider collects and processes certain User data through the Service.

The Service uses and stores certain anonymous information about Users in Cookies.

The scope, purposes, methods, and rules for data processing are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Data collected during registration:

• email address, name.

For signed-in Users, Cookies stored on the User’s device may contain an identifier linked to the User’s account.

The Service Provider owns the Service and the copyright in the Service.

Some data published through the Service is protected by copyrights owned by unrelated companies, institutions, or third parties and is used under obtained or free licences.

Under the Polish Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights, articles, descriptions, photographs, graphics, video, audio, and other materials in the Service may not be used, copied, reproduced, or stored in retrieval systems without written permission or permission provided through Electronic Communication by their lawful owner. This restriction does not apply to indexing by Google, Bing, Yahoo, NetSprint, DuckDuckGo, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Simple press information consisting solely of facts without author commentary or assessment is not protected under that Act. Information from texts published through the Service may therefore be used, but complete articles or their parts may not be copied unless a particular item expressly states otherwise.

The Service Provider may amend any provision of these Terms unilaterally at any time without giving reasons.

Registered Users will be notified of changes through Electronic Communication.

For Users without an account, amended Terms take effect immediately upon publication.

For Users with accounts registered before the amendment, amended Terms take effect after a seven-day transition period.

A User who continues using the Service after an amendment is deemed to have accepted the amended Terms in full.

The Service Provider will make every effort to provide the Service continuously but is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure, unauthorised interference by Users or third parties, or external automated programs.

The Service Provider may change information published through the Service at a time of its choosing without prior notice to Users.

The Service Provider may temporarily disable all or part of the Service to improve it, add services, or perform maintenance without prior notice.

The Service Provider may permanently discontinue the Service without prior notice.

The Service Provider may assign some or all rights and obligations connected with the Service without User consent or a right of objection.
